Martin Galbraith

Martin is a chartered building surveyor; corporate member of the Australian Institute of Building (MAIB); a fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS); QBSA licenced Open builder and QBSA licenced project manager with 25 years’ experience in the study and practice of building construction, consultancy and quantity surveying.

4+ years south east Queensland experience working for a Quantity Surveying Consultancy including superintendent/client project management roles ($minor to $5m+); feasibility and cost advice ($minor to $10’sm), defects investigation and reporting; building condition and maintenance reports; sinking fund forecasts; & insurance valuations.

15 years as founding co-director of a building and construction consultancy (1993-2008) prior to relocating to the Sunshine Coast, Queensland including technical due diligence; project management/director roles (minor to $10’s m), maintenance planning and implementation; defects investigation, diagnosis and reporting; landlord and tenant repairing advice & claims (make good); expert witness; project design/planning work Health and Safety specialist; construction management (refurbishment & fit out).

One of Martin’s strengths is the ability to adapt comprehensive services and reporting requirements to suit specific client needs with emphasis on commercial risk and asset management.
